I got great news this week re the TV show(500k for the show ) but I thought that this donor was gong to fund poetry and science ( poetry of earth , sea and sky) and in-classroom experiments, and they've deferred that in favor of TV I am not going to be able to get at the edges of science with you-- I don't have the background --but there are poems that help me -- and might help others see some of those edges. Marianne Moore's poems of evolution that use metaphor to link zoologyand etymology with ethics; A.R ammons who writes poems full of physics but also delighting in the lexicons of science . I am also working with EdLabs to test what I do and its effectiveness with kids In schools We are designing experiments to figure out how to maximize attention span , tap kids spontaneity and to raise reading comprehension Talk more ?
