Re:
he was the first to suggest to sarkozy and his team that he should ta=kle innovative finance. as much as everyone else
takes credit for it.
he has some terrific ideas about how to do things and is very good at=currency.
he's got a quirky personality - likes cars and wine (which is a littl= annoying but i think rooted in his insecurity and desire
to fit in with=a peer group) was head of strategy for barclay world wide - youngest ever, etc.
he's interested in global risks and financial failures • which fits=super well with his skill set of math/physics.
he's much better at math than physics and his ability to quickly fram= systems and problems around numbers is pretty
fun to watch he has a super super kind heart which it think stems from his rebelli=n against his strict, traditional and
teutonic parents since he refe=s to them frequently in conversation he thought his bosses at barclay were non-thinkers
and wanted to see=slide decks (without understanding problems) so he left this month he will take over as head of the
WEF finance division and i am not su=e what that entails but it reports directly to klaus and he will have acc=ss to all the
finanicla heads that play within the WEF sandbox he is very good at "quiet" behind the scenes stuff analytical, almost to
a fault intracranially, i found his angular gyrus to be quite sexy
he can help you make connections to formal organizations within the=WEF but more importantly i think he's a good
thought partner for finance=since he will likely approach the problems from a math perspective
he is also relocating to nyc this month
