Pursuant to the City Charter, it i= within the purview of City Manager Jimmy Morales's power to identify and =ire the next Police Chief. Manager Morales will work with the Police Execu=ive Research Forum, which is currently conducting an audit of our Police D=partment, to identify regional and national candidates.
