I had a partial replacement a little over two years ago on one kne= and it has shifted and is causing me a great deal of pain. The Roy = Schneider Hospital is no longer allowing orthopedic surgeons to do joint =eplacement surgery at their facility because of the hospital's financial s=tuation. So, everyone has to go off island. I have an appointme=t in two weeks with one of the orthopedic surgeons at the Hospital for Spe=ial Surgery in NYC. I will see him and get a date for surgery which =ill hopefully take place within a few weeks of my appointment. I wou=d like to ask you if I may stay at one of the apartments on 301 east 66th =eginning a few days prior to my surgery and for at least two weeks (so I c=n go to my post-op appointment) after my surgery. I will do my physic=l therapy on STT. I will repeat the process three months later =or my other knee.
