Dear Jef=rey, The 29th Ann=al Mayor's Cup marked a wonderful achievement for the organization and mos= importantly for the children of New York City, as the final awards celebr=tion was held on the newly opened, Victor Kiam Stadium and the boys' varsi=y final on the Pershing Square Stadium. =div>Comprised of 14 events, the Mayor's=Cup is the largest annual free interscholastic tournament in the nation. &=xa0;This year more than 600 participants from public, private and parochia= schools competed in individual and team competitions. Beacon High S=hool won the boys' varsity team competition with the girls' varsity team c=mpetition being completed in the Fall to coincide with their team schedule= 160 =chools represented.
