Re:
This new guy who's in charge of Airport improvement, Carlton Dowe is trying to clean up the general Aviation area and
generate revenue for the port. Carlton and Jose were thoroughly impressed with our hanger renovation, I personally
think Port authority would rather us over hancock . Carlton didn't mention Hancock's interest, or probably didn't think
about it.
I mentioned to Jose and Carlton our need for a hanger for our New plane. Carlton was the pperson who offered the
Maintenance building, when I told him it was a perfect location for us with taxi way access., he mentioned he was in the
process of relocating the equipment stored in the old building to an off airport location.
I will request dimensions of existing building, if we could utilize the cement build would be perfect and strong. If
memory serves, there is a cement pole in the middle of the door area dividing the build with two door openings, may be
structural is my guess, I remember the cement pole when we thought about this building for the helicopter storage.
Will update you tomorrow,
Thx
Larry
