I haven't had cannolis that =ood in over 23 years (not surprisingly, that's how long ='ve been out of Brooklyn). So I must =eturn the favor... Do you have =ny food allergies or dietary restrictions? The reason I =sk is my wife decided to entice my son and his wife to come to visit by =olunteering my cooking skills and having me make my late mother's =hicken and ham croquettes this weekend. Although I'll never =laim there as good as mom always made them but they are the closest any =amily member has ever come. I usually =nly make them for special occasions as they take approximately five (5) =ours to prepare each batch of +/- 75 croquettes, but since the wife =sked (i.e. volun-told me), I thought I'd offer you some. I =an't guarantee they'll last long (even though I'll =robably make two batches), as people have a tendency to eat large =uantities in a single sitting, so if you have no food issues, I highly =ecommend them.
