Subject Report # 142: This is what it feels like to be mortified
Hallo everyone,
For some of my colleagues (and myself included) it was the most mortifying day of their careers
at NYUAD. It really is terrible when you hit "reply" on a mass-email and it instead goes out to the
entire university... Then on top of things you get a reprimanding email from the head of HR...
It is so hard to open an off-shore account to save my hard-earned un-taxed money in. My
signature has to be the exact same as in my passport. The problem with the signature in my
passport is that I slipped while signing it, but the
Consulate said: "don't worry. It doesn't
matter." Well, if you want to open a shady James Bond account it does!!!
Nevertheless, after 3 attempts to send in my signature for verification to my off-shore bank, and
three declines, I decided to call in the heavy artillery: I asked a photoshop expert (also my
colleague. I tell ya, it is so handy to work for an empire, because you have all kinds of help) to
help me forge my signature. He made it look real and not photoshopped. It's awesome!
Cheers!
