Courant's great! Teachers are really enthusiastic about teaching, and do a great job at it, which is a change... However I'm taking very basic courses right now (Algebra I, Topology I and Linear Algebra for Phd Students) because I wasn't sure what the standards are here and everybody at the institute said I should- and so far they're very easy and covering the very basics, so I'm not getting any real mental exercise yet. :) Hopefully this will change by next semester and I'll pick some more advanced material. Apparently we were prepared well in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Math dept. I also find it intriguing that I could find no-one working on Set theory, Logic or Game Theory in courant - there are no courses at all in these subjects. It's too bad because I liked these as an undergrad, but at least they have great advanced Topology, Algebra and Probability courses, which I am very drawn to as well.
