This is interesting but there are more questions to ask. I do not believe this is the cheapest or best way to get
clean energy. We are experimenting with a few models in Asia, but there we are also looking to employ 12-15
humans per ton of waste (in Dhaka there are15,500 tons of waste generated per day) by using a slightly
different model.
If you can tell me what you are looking to do with this:
1. Take this model to scale (as an investment)
2. Bring it to the island and use it generate energy (self-use)
3. Offer it is a way to subsidize or supplement grid power (coal, wind energy, etc)
Depending on your response ?
Also I have the world's best analysts looking at these things for me and can also ask them to confidentially take
a look and see what they think. We also have a risk team that can tell us if there are environment, reputation,
financial risks etc.
