FYI below. The ideas that I put forth to you in a general way a few days ago may be meaningful.
It would be nice to start exploring these paths. I hope you find the "mapping" concept, and the
three organizational frameworks, useful... :-)
I also gave this talk at TEDX USC, which was before 1400 people, and it was considered the best
talk of their series... The response has been quite positive all around, and with the same reaction
at the Gardner conference, which has of course a very high level...

Hi Al,
Thanks again for your great talk for the Marschak Colloquium. The feedback on it was uniformly
extremely positive, and one of the people there - Burt Raven from Psychology - will be inviting
you to speak for the UCLA Emeriti Group. There may also be other invitations coming to you. A
number of faculty members have told me that they when they hear a speaker, they don't expect to
hear much new that they haven't already thought about in some way. They were very impressed
by the quality and originality of your thoughts, and were not expecting so see such much new
material in such a compelling fashion. I really think your work is important and will be bringing it
up to the Milken people again.
Many thanks for your invitation for the afternoon of Saturday May 9th. I have heard about
Michael Douglas from our oldest son Kenneth, who is a string theorist at UCSD. We'll have to let
you know if we can join you then.
Best regards, Mike

Hi Michael,
thank you again for hosting me at UCLA. If you got any feedback, positive or
negative, I would like to know, as I am always looking for feedback to improve.
On another matter, I just received an email from Michael Douglas, the string
theorist, who is the former colleague of your other son, and who I believe that you
met some time ago. Michael will be staying with me on the weekend of May 8th,
and we will be having a get-together for him on the afternoon of Saturday May
9th, and hope that you and your lovely wife can attend!
