The idea of magnetic pole shifting is very interesting. It is something that can be (has been proven). Even
the smallest shift puts earth's climate at risk of major and measureable change. It is curious since it is
something we can actually prove, see and measure. Plus I love anything magnetic.

Adam Maloof at Princeton is studying magnetic pole shifting of earth. Its pretty interesting to understand
how this relates to current changes. He's asking how long these shifts take (usually a million years plus).
He theorizes that if these are happening more rapidly that could account for catastrophic changes.
Some cool and spooky links w mayan calendar etc but this guys stuff seems legit.
