I thought it was freaken April Fool's day... I yelled at a visiting colleague from NYU that I would shoot him. In return he thinks I'm very high maintenance and he will send me a box of Stem clothes and stationary. Men like high maintenance women who yells at them... You always know when a New Yorker is in the house: they speak loud, they laugh loud and they curse like nobody's business! I was told by Human Resources to quiet down and not use bad words! It's Candidate Weekend so we're having 40 potential students and 20 visiting staff and faculty from New York University in New York. I've been working in the private sector for all my life. You always have to consider cost, use of resources and forget about fancy business dinners. The men in finance are very old-fashioned. Working for a non-profit, governmental organization is a 180 fliparound. We have an open checkbook since we're 100% owned by the Sheikh himself. I'm getting good use out of my black- tie dresses due to fancy events and I make more than I've ever done in banking. The people are nice, empathetic and very modern in their thinking.
