I found an upgrade tray table to solve diving board issue., (STEECON Aircraft Interior pocket doors, tables and Lifts.) This
table is rated for 150lb stress, which makes it very sturdy when open, i was impressed.
Note in the photo, they are using a solid aluminum block which engages at the ends for support.
