They were able to get to Chicago but due to weather, all =lights to Aspen were cancelled...I had them on a flight to =ail...organized a car to drive them to Aspen...then the =ail flight was cancelled (I cancelled the car and received our money =ack)...American Airlines put them on a direct flight to Aspen for =his morning...the flight was delayed an hour and 10 minutes, but =hey are in the air now and will land at 2:06pm local time! Because the =irline cancellations were weather related, American would not pay for a =otel room last night...I got them a room at the Hilton at the =irport. Somehow, their luggage wound up on a flight that DID make it =ut to Aspen...a flight that I had tried to get them on but was =old was cancelled? I assume now it was sold out (?) So they had not =uggage last night...they will retrieve it today upon landing... = The hotel in Snowmass is aware of the situation... I was able to scoot =heir ski/snowboard lessons to tomorrow and Tuesday...
