I understand there are advantages for having an LLC/S Corp as opposed to bei=g paid as an individual contractor. Currently my source of income is a grant from Rockefeller (fellowship). THey=can make the grant to me as a person or to my LLC. I would like to be sure 1=maximize my income. Also need an tic because 1. Need health insurance and can't get decent as individual in Washi=gton neither can . Can get really good ones if we have an LLC/S Corp s=nce we qualify for group. This also means can get 's mom on in=urance too. 2. Would consider putting other assets or payments to me in here. Or maybe i=tellectual property or whatever.
