I was tough=and asked why are we only now hearing about this 9 months after hurricanes=if they were doing monthly service calls.. I also informed=pro solar that their invoice says that warranty is either 3 or 5 years..</=iv> Prosolar tried to source these boards via wholesale=s with very little success as they have all been purchased I ask=d if we can use other company circuit boards and they replied no.. I don't think there's much support to=be had at Aquion or the Chinese buyer of the assets. We still have some Aq=ion stacks left in stock (and continue to sell, service & warranty the=), but we have for the most part switched to the Aquion competitor we met =everal years ago. We feel that their saltwater battery is more advanc=d and higher quality. They now have at least one of the Aquion Engineering=leadership working for them. Their batteries are also higher energy densit=. I have attached a datasheet. Ge=ting back to the BMS on top of the old M100s, unfortunately we sold our la=t one I believe. I have copied Dr. Thomas Krausse and Stefan Schlaegl on t=is mail to fact-check everything I say. We have been building systems without that particular BMS for severa= years. We find that the functionality these days in the inverters and oth=r power management equipment on the market is more than adequate to manage=12 or more stacks. And I believe in some cases you can simply bypass=that board Stefan is that right? One thing you could do would be to disassemble the five=M100s and individually check the quality of each stack and get rid of the =utliers. The remaining 'good' batteries could then be config=red with either the existing charger(s) and inverter or new components as =eeded.
