Subject: L51 updates barge will probably go in for service week of =ec 18th (bosco believes it will be down for 4 weeks +) i am trying to arrange insurance adjustor to inspect all =amage while out of water at subbase generators - had a nice call with =echnician Randy yesterday from Plan B who is very =ompetent -> generators are 7+ years old =nd can both be fixed we are expecting = -> summary report early next week along with estimate of parts and labor -> =osts to fix (parts verbally roughly speaking was =0k per randy) - units are not compromised are anna originally =xplained randy said terrible maintenance and =eglect over the years is evident and believes these machines can last =-4 more years once fixed -> cost of both units =n 2010 was approximately 300,000+ i asked =andy -> to propose a service contract to look after generators (and maybe -> =ther machinery) 1-2x per month as danny has proved uncable randy -> will also source, install, service and warranty a =ew generator for -> GSJ unsure of roads? jeffers??
