He died on =aturday at 97. He has had Alzheimer's for 15 years and leukemia for three.=He hasn't known my name or even recognized me for at least the last five y=ars. Recently, he asked me why he never had any children. I told him that =e had a son, but that he was a real jerk, so he was better off not remembe=ing him at all. He thanked me for the information and never mentioned it a=ain. My Mom died three years ago. When we returned from her memorial servi=e, my Dad asked me where she was. I told him she was at the beauty parlor.=As far as he knew up until the time of his death, she was still there unde= the drier. = Hope all is well with you. Let's get together somewhere soon.
