Issue
So, I have a problem. I have been waiting for WA to respond for a month. I =ave not received a peep either way. I had
hoped that out of common courtes= and (at least) respect for Harvard and the institution that we would be a=le to get a
direct answer, even if it's a "no."
We need to get on with this and while I think he is appropriate, deserving,=and fabulous, I can't twist in the breeze any
longer; the committee is get=ing agitated with me. You had indicated that we could get an answer if we =aited the one
last week (which is today). I know that the requisite sony p=ople have called and spoken, at least, with his agent. And I
realize that =e is agitated right now. But I need him to please make a decision. It's im=ortant to us. I am having dinner
with the dean of the university tonight a=d lunch with drew faust on monday and I have to report. What to do?
