From: Alan S Halperin Sent: Monday, October 28, 2013 1:02 PM To: Ada Cc: Eileen Alexanderson; Jeffrey Epstein Subject: Decanting Hi Ada. Let me jump in. Over the weekend, and early this morning, I had several calls with Jeffrey. (As you know, we often speak over the weekend and in the early morning.) The issues with the 1997 Trust are different than those with the 2006 Trust. So we are fine proceeding with the decanting of 2006 Trust. With the 1997 Trust, I recommend that the Independent Trustee exercise its amendment powers, rather than decant, to get to where we need to be. The provision to which Jeffrey alluded is in the 1997 Trust, and not in the 2006 Trust. We can discuss during our upcoming call. Thanks. Shall we go ahead with the notice of decanting for the 2006 trust. The trustees must give the beneficiaries of the 2006 Trust 30 days notice of their intention to decant that trust. Last Trustee is signing those documents today so we could send the notice out today.
