He works with=silk, materials science, spins off technologies & processes that touch medi=ine (areas like tissue engineering), sustainable materials (for tech or any=products), art/fashion/luxury products, etc. He trained as an applied physicist and worked with big powerful lasers for n=clear fusion. Then moved to Tufts, learned about silk and as he began worki=g with it, generated research, ideas, and has spun out 4 companies at vario=s stages. The guy has a lovely kind of brilliance that I think you'd enjoy. He is work=ng to get funding for an institute possibly with an incubator... He is wor=ing on how this might be both structured and funded. I'm so inspired by this work that he's definitely a person I'd love to help a=d possibly to work with. I'd like to introduce you to him.
