Fwd: Hello--CONFIDENTIAL
This =s highly confidential of course, but it is good news, and I will use it =n the appeal doc, which I am HEAVILY revising
today. I am also =oing to send you another support letter that is quite important in a =inute.

Thanks for =orwarding me the content of the investigative report by ASU related to =e and my participation,
along with Johnny, at Origins events. =nbsp;l am attaching what you sent to me so that I may comment on =t.:
"Four Witnesses reported during the investigation =hat Respondent once made a comment in the presence of
employees about =he physical characteristics of Amber Heard, an actress and female =isitor at Origins Project event.
Specifically, during the Johnny Depp =vent on February 16, 2016, that Respondent, while getting everyone =ogether to
take a picture with Johnny Depp, said, "get your hot =ss over here" when attempting to get Amber to join the picture.
=uring this same event, two witnesses allege that Respondent told Heard, =E2 Your ass looks great." Employees also
indicate that he =alked about how "hot she was".
When asked if he ever commented on a female'= buttocks in front of employees, Respondent stated, "Whoa,
not =hat I...I can't imagine doing that". Respondent =tated, "Generally, I would say that is not a good idea" =ut added
that if someone asked his opinion about someone, he might =espond. When asked if he ever made comments about
Amber Heard's =ody, Respondent stated, "No. Amber Heard is an incredibly =ttractive woman, and everybody
understands that and everybody said it, =nd she is".

Respondent stated that he =id not remember telling Heard that her "ass" looked =ood. He stated, "I don't
remember saying it, but it =99s the kind of thing that a close friend would say to a close friend =n the context of [asking
for wardrobe advice], but I certainly don'= remember it, but we were very, very close." Respondent stated =hat making
such comments in the workplace would be outside of normal =onduct for him, but "if it would've happened, it would
=ave not been at the Origins offices. It would have been in the middle =f an event when we were celebrating".
Factual Determination: Four witnesses heard =espondent make the statement. Although Respondent stated he
did not =emember saying this, he did acknowledge that it is the kind of thing =hat a close friend would say. It is more
likely than not that =espondent made the statements. "
Hey Lawrence.
I'm glad to hear from you although, =f course, I am saddened that it is under these =ircumstances.
Here is my response, which you may forward to the University =f you wish:
I do not recall this or any incident =etween us as being inappropriate. I also feel deeply for anyone who =eels as
though they have been the subject of any unwanted attention in =his way, so I hope this can provide any clarity on your
situation. =nbsp;
Lawrence Krauss was a close friend, and as I =ecall his behavior towards me was gracious and kind during our
visits =o the Origins Project. I don't recall any such comments ry him backstage at the Origins event, and more generally
remember no =nappropriate comments toward me at any time, either in public or =ackstage during the events, or at our
home or elsewhere, and we left =11 of our interactions with both him, and his Origins staff, feeling =ery well treated. The
Origins events were a highlight for =e.
I hope this lays this =ssue to rest.
Due to the public nature of my life and the =niquely public circumstances surrounding aspects of my marriage
and =ivorce to my ex-husband (who participated in the Origins event =entioned above), I request that this statement be
used internally by =he university only. Thank you.
Best regards
Amber Heard.
