Rolland has compiled a detailed account of the history. Both Kyle and Rolland believe that a water hammering increased the pressure in the pipes and caused one of the pipes fittings to fail. I believe that the failure in that particular fitting is not necessarily the fault of human error, it is the result of general construction activities. Materials fail and break due to faulty manufacturing. In this case it was the water pressure that exceeded the capabilities of the pipe fitting to maintain its connection to the straight piece of pipe adjoining it. This is one of the reasons we would carry liability insurance. We will need to capture all the expenses related to this incident so we can enter it in our claim. Please note that we take responsibility for this damage and will pay to have it restored. JPK always stands by its work to give its customers the best quality and service.
