From: michael glidden < Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2018 6:30 PM To: Cc: brice gordon; Kyle reavis; LSJ GSJ; Richard Kahn Subject: DPNR visit of 12-20-18 On 12-20-18 DPNR arrived on GSJ just after 12:00 noon and proceeded to =ock their boat and 4 members of the party walked across the beach to =he tiki area with another staying on the boat. Karen, Kyle and myself arrived just after 12:30 and introduced =urselves. The DPNR people asked about permits for the work going on at the beach =nd if there was any other work under way elsewhere on the island. They then told us that they did not need any written orders to both =nstruct us to cease and desist any and all construction or to allow =hem to access any portion of the island they chose to go to. At that point they started walking west down the beach and stopped at =he equipment parking area at the far west end of the beach and took =ictures of the area and likely the excavated hole for the new septic =reatment plant and the tanks sitting next to the hole. Then they headed along the road leading to the dump/dumpster area and =ook photos of the newly excavated trash pit and the freshly scrapped =rea with the boat trailers and water wagons parked there. At that point they walked down to the Christmas Cove barge ramp area and =ook photos of that area. After walking back up to the dump area they chose to walk up the road =hat climbs the hill behind the old ruins building and leads to the Q =ut and staff cottage. I did not follow them at that point as Kyle and Karen were ahead of them =n a cart. I walked back to the beach until they got back down there. As they were walking back to the tiki from the east end of the beach =hey took notice of the intake pump housing for the desal unit and also =he freshly laid sand over the area that had previously been grass. Karen asked to see the lead person's ID and was asked to show =ers also. As they were getting back onto their boat one of the officers boarded =he Zodiac and took pictures of the registration sticker. After that they all boarded and left the island. <?xml version=.0" encoding=TF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.O.dtd"> <plist version=.0"> <dict> <key>conversation-idgkey> <integer>318116</integer> <key>date-last-viewed</key> <integer>O</integer> <key>date-received</key> <integer>1545330572</integer> <key>flags</key> <integer>8590195717</integer> <key>remote-id</key> <string>884130</string> </dict> </plist> EFTA_R1_01803881 EFTA02609783
