Most of these are either very=young newcos (15 in 2018) or I had minor/diluted shares. Also payback in biotech is slower than most investments. Even though=my Harvard lab is very frugal (reducing costs by 10 million-fold), and mos= our 90 employees get paid less than $60K per year, we still have many goo= ideas that don't get implemented. Also, last week I learned that our largest and longest grant won't be =enewable for the very odd reason that we have been too successful in peer-review.
