Since then, my husband and I have been in regular contact with Jeffrey. Jeffrey has organized groups of discussions with leading figures in their respective fields ranging over a variety of expertise and direct engagement -- from science to the political arena. The intellectual exchanges were extremely stimulating. Jeffrey has brought together people from completely opposite positions in the political spectrum, therefore some diplomacy and mediating were necessary. Jeffrey, in all the occasions, had the ability to conduct the discussion demonstrating genuine knowledge, managing the conflict level and raising comments that would bring the conversation back to it focus, keeping always a very respectful attitude to all the ones present. The most stimulating conversations I have seen my husband engaging in were the ones with Jeffrey. When Jeffrey would challenge with questions that would pose very interesting considerations, giving light to new ideas and directions to explore productively. Apart from intellectual stimulation and ideas, I've been most impressed by Jeffrey's dedication to justice and fairness, and both intellectual and personal honesty. Rare characteristics, which I've come to appreciate greatly in all of our lively and happy interactions with Jeffrey over the years.
