The survival of transport should not be a problem =onsidering the fact of that. Sabal Palms are cut at the top =ronds for transport. This prevents damages and provides an clear =visual of the palm frond area. Realistically the frond area could and =sually is shelter to small animals, critters, rodents etc. The =abals will be free of any unwanted animals. The fronds will start =o grow within 6-8 weeks allowing you to soon enjoy the palm =ntirely. The best rule of thumb is to fertilize every 3 =onths. Using 12-4-12. Sabals thrive in sandy soil. I =m not contemplating you to have a problem with that. When planting the =alms, be advised that it is necessary to ensure that no air holes =xist around the root system..
