From: Michael Wolff Sent: Monday, April 8, 2019 7:27 PM To: Cc: Steve Bannon Subject: Re: I think the tone should be shifted from umbrage to just th= facts. Don't get into a debate. If the Herald's assertion is wron= deny in absolute but not hostile terms; if other facts contradict the ass=rtions, just state them. Try to be succinct rather than expansive. For ins=ance, on the issue of being a government informant, rather than quoting fr=m another journalist, merely state, in categorical terms, that you have ne=er knowing aided U.S. law enforcement or other agencies in any official or=unofficial way. Again, don't attack the Herald or its reporting, let t=e strength of your denials and the list of inaccuracies do that. Instead o=, "This is a basic error which even the most superficial research wou=d have revealed..." say "Hls business and activities as a financ=al advisor neither resemble nor intersect with the functions of a hedge fu=d manager. A hedge fund manager is not an accurate catch-all for all finan=ial professionals and significantly misrepresents Epstein's career.&qu=t; In the bullet "The MH's sensationalized portrayal..." bet=er to be expressed... "The Herald's portrait careful selects and =herry picks details to create a picture at dramatic odds with the greater =ircumstance, ignoring a wealth of mitigating evidence relating to the age =f the women involved, their statements, and their financial interest in th= legal cases against Mr. Epstein. All extenuating or exculpatory evidence =as ignored in the Herald's report." I might say: "The Herald=paints a portrait of coercion, threats, and exploitation. But significant =spects of the sworn evidence presents a vastly different and more complica=ed picture, once again wholly ignored by the Herald." Then go into a =oint-by-point list showing both the agency and complicity of the girls. AI=o: "The central factor in the Herald's portrait of the case is th= age of the women who Epstein paid for massages and, sometimes, sex. Here =he Herald has succeeded in giving the impression that under-age girls were=the focus of Epstein's interest and activities. And yet significant ev=dence, nowhere referenced in the Herald account, strongly suggests otherwi.e..." Then point by point. I would group unreliable and conflicted so=rces under one header. In general, this is all st=ong stuff, but the tone takes away from the strength of the individual poi=ts, and the overall argument is scattershot rather than tightly organized.=C240 On Mon, Apr 8, 2019 at 2:42 PM J <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> wrote: =C24k please note The information co=tained in this communication is confidential, may be attorney-client pr=vileged, may constitute inside information, and is intended only for JEE Unauthorized use= disclosure or copying of this communication or any part thereof is str=ctly prohibited and may be unlawful. iMessage thread hints at paid media production, high‑level political figures, and covert coordination with foreign interests

iMessage thread hints at paid media production, high‑level political figures, and covert coordination with foreign interests The conversation contains multiple actionable clues – a $100k invoice, references to a ‘cast’ for filming, mentions of Prince Andrew, Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, Michael Wolff, and Chinese market manipulation – that suggest a coordinated media or influence operation involving powerful political actors and foreign financial interests. While the specifics are vague, the repeated references to payments, legal arrangements, and government sensitivity provide concrete follow‑up leads (e.g., trace the $100k invoice, identify the production crew, locate the ‘letter to Burke’, and verify the alleged Chinese market influence). The content is moderately controversial and ties to high‑profile individuals, warranting further investigation. Key insights: Reference to sending an invoice for $100k to Darren – potential payment for services.; Discussion of assembling a ‘cast’ and filming on an island, with government interest in controlling press.; Mentions of Prince Andrew, Donald Trump, and Bannon in a context suggesting exploitation or coordinated messaging.
