LED technology from MIT to be used by startup working on Alzheimer's treatment -
The Boston Globe
Hi there - a little more for you:
https://www.bostonglobe.com/business/2016/12/07/led-technology-from-mit-used=startup-working-alzheimer-
treatment/Kbdjp9WvfoPLIC1bNhvGOI/story.html
Very specifically, we know that these wavelengths of light work to attenuate=the pathology in Alzheimer dementia. But
right now all of the devices and t=chniques require crani and are extravascular.
I think that within a few months we could devise a very simple piggyback of L=D into existing (approved) catheters and
create endovascular tools to manag= in a very simple and direct way using a catheter approach.
Would not take very long (months maybe).
Not sure Ed would want to talk about other ideas we have discussed and if th=y would be appropriate but maybe you
and i can catch up tomorrow?
