For some reason she is considering art schools, in addition to to first rate art programs in an otherwise fine colleges or universities. I urged her to stay away from pure pre-professional art schools. If she wants to become a designer/illustrator/artist she needs to go to one of a few fine places that have great faculties and first class art students, and where she can study other stuff, particularly computer science. We put together a list. I saw them for about 50 minutes and then they went on the college tour. Let me know if you got any feedback. I had the impression that the visit went well. If she wants to come to Bard, let me know. I think she would do well.
