From: Eric Roth < Sent: Thursday, August 29, 2013 1:22 AM To: 'Jeffrey Epstein' Cc: 'Larry Visoski' Subject: GIV Seat Dimensions Attachments: image002jpg; image004jpg; image006.jpg; GIV Seat Dimension JE.pdf Jeffrey,=/o:p> We brought =he fwd L/H seat in the aircraft to lay out the outlets in the lower =ide panels. </=:p> When doing =o, we noticed that the chair was further inboard (to the center of the =ircraft) than the average due to the restyled seat and arm =ests. We brought =he rest of the seats into the aircraft to gain a complete =erspective. </=:p> The FAA =andates that there be 20" of clearance between furnishings - =easured 25" and higher from the floor. The top of =he arm rest elevation is just below the 25" =ark. The problem =hat we identified is that we do not achieve the mandated 20" =etween furnishings (in this case the seat backs) until a point =.5" above the top of the arm rest. </=:p> On a side =ote, I need to mention that by making each of the arm rest on the seats =" wide, we have lost a total of 4" of aisle space between =he #1 R/H & L/H Aft facing single seats and the #2 R/H (your seat) =nd L/H fwd facing single seats in the fwd cabin =rea. Five of my =uys walked through from the entryway through the fwd cabin and although =here is 4" less aisle space than customary at the 4 fwd seats in =he front of the cabin, no one found it =ncomfortable. </=:p> EFTA_R1_01976488 EFTA02678433 The bottom =ine is that legally we have to increase the space that starts at =.5" above the arm rests by about 2" to achieve the required =0" clearance. The attached = page pdf shows a picture of the fwd 2 seats in the aircraft which =hould provide you with a visual perspective and a means of reference =or our anticipated discussion. 4=43> The =nd page illustrates how we propose to taper the backrest of =he seats to gain the required 20" clearance between the =eats. 4=43> We spent =ost of the day looking, reviewing, measuring and discussing solution =cenarios. </=:p> I reco nize =hat it is late, but please feel free to call me tonight or obviously in =he office tomorrow morning (cell Home =16.922.2828).
