I have discussed this with the ASAC, SDNY, and the case agents and at this time none of us believe it necessary to have a forfeiture person present at the search. First, we are there to execute a search warrant and doing an inventory of all valuables is not part of the scope of the warrant. Second, SDNY has advised we are not seeking forfeiture on any valuables in this case as they do not qualify as proceeds from his criminal behavior. They may at some point seize the properties but not the valuables. As such we don't see a need to have anyone from your present. I would like to say that we greatly appreciate the work that your squad has done on this case, s has been extremely valuable to the case. Please let me know if you'd like to discuss it further and

I know your squad is busy running and traveling for the Epstein Case. has asked SFI o travel with your squad to St. Thomas in furtherance of the forfeiture action. has received full concurrence and approval to travel. It is my understanding that the squad is flit St. Thomas on Sunday via the Bureau's Q400 plane. I think it would be most effective and efficient to have travel with your team. Please let me know what is needed to secuaa seat on the Q400.
