The AP adds the police "did not say where Hole bought what they described as 'assault rifles,' citing the ongoing investigation, but said he was seen using both rifles during the shooting: Reuters (4/18) reports the purchases "were made a few months after Hole was briefly placed under psychiatric detention in March and a shotgun was seized from his home when his mother contacted law enforcement to report he might try to commit 'suicide by cop,' according to the FBI."
