On or about September 1, a source with indirect access provided information that there was a hidden staircase behind a secret door in Epstein's New York Townhouse. The source said that the staircase was behind the fireplace in the second floor library and could be accessed by a concealed push button that caused the fireplace and mantle to rotate 90 degrees and that the staircase would be accessed from one side. 2. Information was also provided that Epstein, during renovations to the townhouse in the 1990s, purchased and had workers install gun safes with quick release buttons in large items of furniture such as couches, coffee tables. 3. The individuals who allegedly have direct knowledge of this are two contractors who worked on the renovations in the 1990s. Both of these individuals are allegedly listed in

They worked on installing marble during the renovation and allegedly observed these things, Roy Raved is supposed to have direct knowledge about the hidden staircase as well as some observation of the "gun safes" that were for furniture.
