We now have a CEOS attorney on the case while we await a meeting between Alice Fisher and Ken Starr. The lawsuit isn't great for us — except that I hope it makes Epstein understand that our plan to give each girl $150,000 is a heck of a lot better than $50 million for just one. And maybe they can take Epstein's deposition? Assistant U.S. Attorney 500 S. Australia

KIRKLAND & ELLIS LLP SUMMARY OF MISCONDUCT ISSUES IN THE MATTER OF JEFFREY E. EPSTEIN The manner in which federal prosecutors have pursued the allegations against Mr. Epstein is highly irregular and warrants full review by the Department. While we repeatedly have raised our concerns regarding misconduct with the United States Attorney's Office in Miami (the "USAO"), not only has it has remained unwilling to address these issues, but Mr. Epstein's defense counsel has been instructed to limit its contact to the very prosecutors who are the subject of this misconduct complaint. For your review, this document summarizes the USAO's conduct in this case. Background 1. In March 2005, the Palm Beach Police Department opened a criminal investigation of Palm Beach resident, Jeffrey E. Epstein. The press has widely reported that Mr. Epstein is a close friend of former President Bill Clinton. 2. In July 2006, after an intensive probe, including interviews of dozens of witnesses, re
Dear Mr. Starr:
Dear Mr. Starr: I write in response to your November 2811' letter, in which you raise concerns regarding the Non-Prosecution Agreement between this Office and your client, Mr. Epstein. I take these concerns seriously. As your letter focused on the Section 2255 portion of the Agreement, my response will focus primarily to that issues as well. I do wish to make some more general observations, however. Section 2255 provides that "any minor who is a victim of a violation of [enumerated sections of Title 18] and who suffers personal injury as a result of such violation may sue in any appropriate United States District Court and shall recover the actual damages such minor sustains and the cost of the suit, including a reasonable attorney's fee." Thus, had this Office proceeded to trial, and had Mr. Epstein been convicted, the victims of his actions would have been entitled to relief under this Section. The Non-Prosecution Agreement entered into between the Southern District of Fl

Specifically, I understand that Epstein's attorneys have notified Assistant Attorney General Alice Fisher and/or her staff that I have an actual conflict of interest. As part of pre-indictment plea negotiations, the parties agreed that Epstein's victims would be allowed to collect civil damages from Epstein and that Epstein would provide counsel for the vict
