HOW TO APPLY
When applying for government grants there are a few simple
things to remember so the proposal isn't rejected. Make
sure they aren't late, make sure they are on the
appropriate forms, and make sure that they comply with the
stated guidelines.
To ensure your proposal gets full consideration:
• Make sure the projects fit the guidelines and intent.
• Specify categories of costs to reflect the areas that
funding can cover. In some cases, only actual costs are
allowed. Keep accurate records of expenditures and
receipts.
• Submit the required number of application copies.
• Submit the application on time.
• Consider payment procedures, schedules, and partial
payment schedules. Evaluation reports are often
essential to final funding.
• Check on copyrights and credits. Make sure you know if
the funding organization requires credit. Check where
copyright of materials is necessary and whose
responsibility it is to get it.
EFTA00268677
• Not the decision date, so you can follow up if necessary.
If you are rejected, try other funding sources.
There are seven steps when preparing a funding proposal:
1. Identify your organization
• Name
• How many people belong
• When it was established
• Where it is located
• Purpose
2. Explain how your organization operates.
• Is it a registered charity? What is its number?
• Is it incorporated? What is its number?
• Who is eligible for membership?
• What is the procedure for becoming a member?
• Is the organization democratically run? Are elections
held annually?
• What groups are affiliated with your organization?
3.Describe how responsibilities are distributed within the
organization.
2
EFTA00268678
• List the names and titles of the executive.
• Provide the name, title, address and telephone number
of the person to whom correspondence should be
directed.
• Name the people who will take on the major
responsibilities of the project and describe their
responsibilities.
4 Describe what your project will do.
• Outline the project, how it meets a demonstrated need
and what it hopes to accomplish.
• Explain your objectives in concrete rather than
general terms.
• Explain the methods for evaluating the project's
progress. State the objectives in such a way so
observers can see what you have accomplished what you
set out to do.
• Define the scope: local community, provincials or
national.
5.Explain why your project will succeed.
3
EFTA00268679
• Explain how your project is different. How does the
project avoid duplicating similar projects or programs
run by other organizations?
• Give the qualifications and experience of key people
involved with the project to provide reasonable
assurance your organization is capable of undertaking
the project.
• Name projects you have completed in the past, and
indicate why they were successful.
6. Describe what additional resources you will require.
• Name people outside of the organization who will act
as references.
• List other individuals or organizations supporting
this or similar projects.
• Name other whose support has been requested.
• State any previous contact with the funding bodies
being approached, including previous financial
assistance.
7. Provide a budget.

Electoral district of Frome - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Page 1 of 3
Electoral district of Frome
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Frome is an electoral district of the House of Assembly in the Australian state of South Australia. It
is named after Edward Charles Frome, the third surveyor-general of South Australia. The electorate
is based around the industrial city of Port Pirie and the agriculture areas of Clare and Gilbert Valleys.
It covers a total of 6,889.7 km2 and takes in the towns of Auburn, Clare, Crystal Brook, Gladstone,
Laura, Mintaro, Penwortham, Port Broughton, Port Pirie, Snowtown, Tarlee and Riverton.
Frome has existed in three incarnations throughout the history of the House of Assembly: as a multi-
member marginal electorate from 1884 to 1902, as a single member electorate in a multi member
electoral system from 1938 to 1977, and as a marginal to moderately safe seat for the Liberal Party
of Australia since 1993.
The first incarnation was, like the rest of the state, independent-held until the development of the
party system until in the 1890s. The two seats were split evenly with a conservative and a liberal
member from 1890 until the seat's abolition in 1902.
The second incamati
troduction of the Playmander. The electorate was
dominated by th
abor-votinglown of Port Pine
a single member seat. The seat was won by
Mick O'Halloran, who serve as ppo
er from 1949 until his death in 1960. After the end
of the Playmander which saw all electorates hold approximately the same number of voters, Frome
took in more rural areas around Port Pirie, and was lost by Labor to the Liberal and Country League,
until the abolition of the seat in 1977.
The third incarnation saw the seat revived at the 1991 redistribution as a marginal seat, which took ir
Port Pirie and surrounding rural areas. It was first contested at the 1993 election and was won by
Liberal candidate Rob Kerin.
Kerin chose to retire in 14o
which triggered a January 2009 Frome by-election. The sea
was won by independe
er a very close preference contest in which Brock finish
second place by 30 votes,
rats in front and Labor coming third. Brock re rived
sufficient preferences from theeliminated Labor candidate to prevail over the Liberal candidate by
over 600 votes, or 51.7 percent of the two-candidate preferred vote. He increased his primary and
two-candidate vote significantly at the42010 election, and the Labor candidate notably won the two-
party preferred vote against the Liberal candidate by 30 votes. os.

Thank you for your letter of 18 September 2009 about the establishment of a Specialist
Medical Centre in Port Pine. .,.
SA Health recognises and encourages private medical services to be established within
rural communities. SA Health and Country Health SA (CHSA) have a long established
history of working collaboratively with private medical practitioners in the provision of
health services to the residents of local communities.
Currently, CHSA and the local Health Advisory Council for Port Pirie are engaged in
a 10 year health service needs and planning process. This process will identify the
needs of the Iota! community and support the planning of long term health services to

As Ms
may be aware, the PPRHS already provides consulting room
facilities for some specialties identified through consultation with the local genera!
practitioners.
In these instances, PPRHS pays the travel allowance and provides hospital
accommodation for visiting specialists providing medical inpatient services.
PPRHS also distributes monthly information to all doctors and health units within
the town and surrounding area of the specialists' visiting dates and the waiting
times to see new patients.

How to interpret this chart
This table shows a summary of the status of a inpatient beds in the Port Augusta
Hospital (PARS).
In an online environment, you can click on the chosen hospital in the table and the whole
dashboard will update to show data specific to that hospital.
The dashboard displays occupancy per hospital split across 'general' beds and 'all' beds,
breakdown of inpatients, the length of stay, and much more.
Professor Moyes said the
dashboard, which is available
online, will be updated every
30 minutes to provide real-
time information about bed
occupancy, average length of
stay and inpatient flows.
"The dashboard also includes
information specific to each
hospital about the number
of patients currently within
each area or dinical unit at
the hospital," Professor
Moyes said.
"It allows people to easily see

Jeffrey Epstein INNPedie
Liquid Funding was initially 4o percent owned by Bear Stearns. Through the help of the credit
rating agencies - Standard & Poor's, Fitch Ratings and Moody's Investors Service — the new
bundled securities were able to be created for companies so that they got a gold-plated AAA rating.
The implosion of such complex securities, because of their inaccurate ratings, led to the collapse of
Bear Stearns in March 2008 and set in motion the financial crisis of 2007-2008 and the
-subsequent Great Recession. If Liquid Funding were left holding large amounts of such securities
as collateral, it could have lost large amounts of money.t651I671
Investments
Hedge funds
Between 2002 and 2005, Epstein invested $8o million in the D.B. Zwirn Special Opportunities
Fund, a hedge fund that invested in illiquid debt securities.t6811691 In November 2006, Epstein
attempted to redeem his investment after he was informed of accounting irregularities in the
fund.17°1 By this time, his investment had grown to $140 million. The D.B. Zwirn fund refused to
redeem the investment. Hedge funds that invest in illiquid securities typically have years-long
"lockups" on their capital for all investors and require redemption requests to be made in writing
6o to oo days in advance.[68j The fund was closed in 2008, and its remaining assets of
approximately $2 billion, including Epstein's investment, were transferred to Fortress Investment
Group when that firm bought the assets in 2,309.1.4§1[62-9-1 Epstein later went to arbitration with
Fortress over his redemption attempt. The outcome of that arbitration is not publicly known. [683

Stearns High-Grade Structured Credit Strategies Enhanced
Leverage hedge fund 16811721 This fund was highly leveraged in
mortgage-backed collateralized debt obligations (CDOs).[721
On April 18, 2007, an investor in the fund, who had
$57 million invested, discussed redeeming his investmentP3]

At this time, the fund had a leverage ratio of 17a, which meant

thinly traded CDO marketf7a1 The selling of CDO assets to
meet the redemptions that month began a repricing process
and general freeze in the CDO market The repricing of the CDO assets caused the collapse of the
fund three months later in July, and the eventual collapse of Bear Stearns in March 2008. It is
likely Epstein lost most of this investment, but it is not known how much was his. [7372]
By the time that the Bear Stearns fund began to fail in May 2007, Epstein had begun to negotiate a
plea deal with the U.S. Attorney's Office concerning imminent charges for sex with minors.(68lEM

property at Port Germain about a short, dark haired woman (short hair) that approached us
from the other side of the property.
Paul Gardner handed the woman 550.00 and said "So you -want this then"
The woman took the 550.00 and walked back over to the other side of the property.
"I thoughtypnr daughter had some of her mothers qualities" - Paul said this within a sexual
conversation. Paul had never been introduced to my daughter who resided in Melbourne
with her father since the age of 12 / Darren McDiarmid / ex husband
Question I asked suspiciously : "Wise sant you?"
Paul Gardner's reply : "They did" - pointing towards the ceiling within his bedroom
I had not understood this answer or at whom he was pointing at.

eSafety and Adult Cyber Abuse
-sot
The eSsfetytommissioners (eSafety's) primary role in dealing with cyberbullying complaints is to assist with
the lipid removal of cyberbullying material lusted atAustralian children, on social media services.
Please be aware that eSafety, therefore, has no legislative power to investigate adult cyber abuse
complaints, formally. However, we do work to guide people where we can and provide advice on what they can
do themselves.
In the most serious cases, we will use our existing relationships and escalation pathways with social media
services to effect take-down of harmful material that is considered to be serious cyber abuse in nature or,
where required, we will refer the matter to law enforcement.
