Condition of exterior doors: The surface is rough and dried out. The finish in some areas is very weathered causeing discoloration and flaking. A pigmented varnish was used obscuring the grain, natural color and varitions of the oak. The interior surface is the natural color. Scratches are also visible. We propose to provide the entrance with the following scope of work in order to recondition the finish. I. Lightly clean the surface free of any dirt, dust and other pollutants. 2. Sand rough areas. 3. Touch-up the discolored areas. 4. Reconditioning the surface with buffing and polishing the existing finish to a satin sheen 5. Apply a coat of clear varnish to the isolated areas where there is severe finish loss. 6. Then buff the surface to create a satin sheen throughout. 7. The interior surface would be topically cleaned, buffed and polished to a satin sheen. Estimated time frame is 5 - 7 days. Cost of the restoration is $16,525.00 Plus Tax Payment and Terms - Client will pay to Marco's Art of Restoration an initial nonrefundable payment of 50% down and the additional 50% upon completion of the restoration service.
