Protip: If you've forgotten your charger, you can use this cable to charge your iPhone (it won't provide enough power to charge an iPad). Remote Tips • The touch surface has accelerated swiping, meaning that a faster swipe results in faster on-screen scrolling. • Press the Menu button once to go back. • Press and hold the Menu and Home buttons simultaneously to restart the Apple TV. • Press the Home button once to return to the Home screen from anywhere. • Press the Home button twice quickly to bring up the App Switcher, which displays all apps open. Swipe up on the Siri Remote's touch surface to force close an app. • Press the Home button three times quickly to access VoiceOver. • Hold down the Home button to place the Apple TV in Sleep mode. • Hold down the Siri button to use Siri. • Press the Siri button once and wait to view a list of commands you can ask Siri. If you prefer, you can install Apple TV Remote by Apple https://appsto.re/us/rYfybb.i on your iPhone or iPad. Once you're on the wifi network, open the app & the Apple TV should appear. Click the AirPlay icon FC in the menu bar and choose the Apple TV. Playing your content We recommend using one of the AirPlay to play movies, tv shows or music that you've purchased. You are also able sign into your Apple account on the Apple TV &stream your content directly from Apple. To do this: 1. Open the System folder on the Apple TV home screen and choose Settings 2. Select Accounts, and choose "iTunes and App Store" 3. Select "Add New Apple ID" Please do NOT Sian Out — it's required for updates to install! 4. Sign in with the email & password Apple has on record for you. 5. Return to the home screen and select the movies, tv shows, Apple Music or App Store icons to find your content.
