Epstein is the President of Financial Trust Company, Inc., an international financial consulting firm, and travels internationally with great frequency. As a consequence, his passport is with him when he travels abroad, and he cannot obtain visas for the trips that are planned while he is out of the country, which causes undue hardships and much inconvenience. In addition, he is frequently required on extremely short notice to schedule international trips with itineraries to multiple destinations requiring him to obtain multiple visas at the same time, which is simply not possible on such short notice without a second passport. He is currently scheduled to be in Paris, France from June 22. 2011 through July 1, 2011 for business matters. However, he has another important business trip scheduled for July 6, 2011 to three separate countries in Africa -- Sierra Leone, Mali and Gabon, for which he needs to obtain three different visas. Please issue Mr. Epstein a second passport so he may have the three visas issued for Africa while he is using his current passport in France.
