Statement of Explanation Regarding Prior Conviction
May 24, 2018
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this Statement to explain further my response to item 21.1 on my application for a multi entry
business visa for travel to the Russian Federation.
On June 30, 2008, before the Florida Circuit Court in the United States of America, I pleaded guilty and
accepted punishment for soliciting prostitution over 12 years ago. There have been no similar allegations or
charges of any criminal misconduct by me since that period of time twelve (12) years ago, and since that time I
have dedicated himself to being a productive, valuable and law-abiding member of society. I note that after my
conviction 10 years ago, the Russian Federation has granted my last three requests for a visa in 2011, 2012 and
2015, and the last two of the visas granted were multi-entry visas, each valid for a three-year period.
I respectfully request that a similarly favorable determination be made with regard to my current visa application
and sincerely appreciate your consideration.
