To: Rich Kahn From: Herb Wolman Date: September 8, 2011 Re: A1A Contract In connection with the AIA contract you forwarded I have the following comments regarding the insurance provisions: 16.1 This is the new wording that is mandated by many jurisdictions and carriers-OK 16.3.3 If it were I, I would insist that you are named on the contractors insurance but only as respects the location of the contract work . 16.4.1 I would strike the words " without optional deductibles". You are providing the coverage. I would be careful as to take no liability for the contractors tools and equipment. 16.4.2 I would not give him a copy of owners policy. We can him a certificate to show that coverage is in force.
