I think the Standard and Gansevoort are both close to each other and in a really fun happening part of town. There are tons of cool bars, restaurants all around both of them. You will also be very close to the East River and that is really nice and fun to just walk around. Gramercy hotel will also be very cool and not far from the others but not as cool of an area. The reality is, Nyc is all pretty small, with Uber, cabs and subways you get where you want quickly.
