What I would recommend right now is to remove the carpeting from the closet permanently. I would then remove some of the sheetrock from the bottom of the closet. Norman can bring in some hydrostatic cement and patch in the area in the closet. This should do the trick. You should not forget I put 6 inches of extra stone under that slab. You have an interior footing drain that picks up anything that the outside footing drain does not pick up. EFTA00335158 Also remember the outside footing drain is attached to a pump that pumps it out to the street. I was in that basement over night and there was 3 ft of water in there. It's a miracle it works as good as it does. We should be able to contain this. Hi Bob.so I had Norman out to look at the basement closet (where the vacuum canister is located) and i just had Donald here as well to take a look.they both agree our problem is much bigger than just ripping up the carpet and painting with dry lock.the water is coming from the outside of the house.the closet is soaking wet right now. Donald just pulled up the carpet some so we can look at it. Can you call Norman and discuss with him? or do you think you need to call the basement guys who installed the foundation.I can't remember the name of them.but it is not good.there is even a little portion of the closet with the Wave machine in it in a corner that is a little wet.all lead up to the same area of the house kind of in the corner. Let me know what I can do. Norman: EFTA00335159 EFTA00335160
