Attached is a flyer for the Toy Drive I am running this year. We had a great showing last year and are hoping to do better this year. The toy drive runs from 8 am to 10 am at the New Canaan Toy Store. After the event we drive the toys down the Open Door Shelter in Norwalk. The toys will be provided to over 150 kids at the shelter. I started the drive last year through the YMCA Guide and Princess program. The idea is kids in the program could earn money by doing chores etc. and then use that money to purchase a toy. Its a fun morning with coffee, hot chocolate and donuts. We will have holiday music playing. If anyone has kids who need charity hours they are more than welcome to come down and help out. Tell the boys to wear their jerseys. Hope to see everyone on Saturday.
