Dear Mr. Jeffrey Epstein
They were simply known as "The Lost Boys."
Orphaned by the brutal Civil war in Sudan that began in 1983, these young victims traveled as
many as a thousand miles on foot in search of safety. Fifteen years later, a humanitarian
effort would bring 3600 lost boys and girls to America.
"The Good Lie" is based on the history of the lost boys, stars Reese Witherspoon, and
features a number of Sudanese actors who were refugees, lost boys and/or child soldiers in
Africa.
Please join us on Tuesday, September 30th at 7pm at the Time Warner Screening Room and supper
to follow.
This historic and heartwarming film received a standing ovation at the Toronto Film Festival
and won the Jury Prize at the Deauville Film Festival. It opens October 3rd.
We look forward to seeing you there.
xoxo,
Peggy
