I am emailing for two reasons. First, to let you know that unfortunately I will not be able to join Dutch and the girls for your super-bowl party tonight. I am in Miami assisting a girlfriend with a surgery which was more complicated and intense than she realized thus delaying my return. The second is to request a favor. Sam Masoudi (a huge football fan and father to Ella, age 7 and Clayton, age 3) asked Dutch to watch the game tonight while his wife is away. His mother-in-law is there to assist but he's truly bummed that Kaye is not home. Dutch said he already had a prior party and Aaliyah is so looking forward to it. Would it be too much to ask of me if I asked if Dutch could invite them? I realize this is way forward of me. If this is too much for me to ask, please let me know and I will not be upset. I just thought Sam could use some fun time — football seems to be the female version of a sit down with the girls over a glass of wine!
