Jeffrey,
Darren and I spoke to Don Bass regarding LOI, if you require a maintenance cap for airworthy items, Don recommended
inserting in final purchase agreement and not LOI at this time, Don thought it shows the buyer we have something to hide
regarding corrosion or items needing repair, if you agree?
Don and I just recieved an email from the #3 person invovlved, Mohamed Dobashi, he informed us that Tarek has
departed the USA today and is retuming to Doha, Qatar. Mohamed will be visiting Don Bass in person at Don's office in
Baltimore at noon tomorrow to review LOI and discuss the purchase.
In regards to the C2C inspection that is due January 15th, 2012, flat rate labor is $278,000 for this inspection, and
Morriosn estimated $150,000 addtional for repair of airworthy items. I know Qatar is leery of this purchase, and prefers to
have all of thier upgrades completed before closing, Don wants to introduce this simple LOI, so Qatar pays JEGE for the
aircraft and has some assurance we will follow through with presenting a completed aircraft once upgrades are done.
Darren informed me the price is $4M and will adjust LOI accordingly and will discuss deposit schedule this evening with
you.
thank you,
Larry
