Considering graduate school but not really sure what program would be right for you? Join BBPW in association with Kaplan Test Prep on Thursday, April 28th, 6:00-8:30pm, at the Kaplan Center in Midtown for some wine and cheese and a discussion on effective ways to approach career transition. Lee Weiss, Assistant Director of GRE Programs at Kaplan, will discuss the essential tools and strategies needed for the job searching process and things to focus on when considering a move to a new industry or field. He will also speak about the pros and cons on making the EFTA00434862 decision to return to school and how to stand out as an applicant for any type of grad program or even for a position at a new company. Speaker Bio: LEE WEISS Director of Pre-Graduate Programs Expert on: GRE, graduate school admissions issues and trends Lee Weiss is director of pre- graduate programs for Kaplan Test Prep, managing the company's GRE business, including marketing, program development and delivery. He began his Kaplan career as an instructor, teaching the GRE, GMAT, SAT, ACT and PSAT. A published author of fiction and criticism, Lee's professional experience includes management roles with a K-12 education non-profit and in business development and finance at American Express. He graduated from Cornell University with a BS in International and Comparative Relations in 2002 and completed his master's in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2008.
