You can tour mansions along the water...great shopping and excellent food. Lots of places on the water. And I would recommend staying right in town at one of the hotels. You can walk the cliff walk. Go to Inn at Castle Hill for drinks (that will require an Uber). Watch the sunset ...see all the boats that come in...they have a place you can watch a glass blower blow glass ornaments and stuff. I ate lobster rolls every day for lunch. Made it a completion 0. More low key than hamptons. And you can drive there. Or train I think?! When do you want to go? I know nothing about LI other than Hamptons. And I did like the Hamptons when I used to go. I would suggest south Hampton as it is the largest of all the EFTA00442966 Hamptons with more to do and its more central so you can Uber to other towns. Sag Harbour is cool too.
